Hook rulers improve accuracy by allowing you "catch" the reference edge of a work piece and virtually eliminate the possibility of improper ruler placement. They are 100% made in USA by Products Engineering Company (PEC Tools), a premier US measuring tool manufacturer. Rulers are made from the finest stainless steel available and hardened and tempered and have a baked-on Satin chrome finish for easy readability and corrosion prevention. Both long edges are ground flat and straight. Graduations are precision photo etched and then black filled for easy readability.
