Paper-Wood is a new plywood made by laminating colored recycled paper sandwiched in-between each veneer layer. The stripes that appear at the cut cross section impart colorful and beautiful expressions that conventional plywood does not possess. This material newly developed by Takizawa Plywood in 2009 has been used in numerous buildings and interiors by renowned designers and architects. It received the Good Design Award in 2010.
